Form 8962 Line 29 not linking to Schedule 2 Line 2 (Both forms disappeared)

All,

I just spent over 1 hour with Proseries Support trying to figure out why my client's Form 8962 and Schedule 2 disappeared (I updated Proseries today). After over 1 hour, it turns out that this has something to do with today's Proseries UPDATE 4/7/2021).

I will be holding off on finalizing this clien'ts return until Proseries is working properly again.

Please be aware. After your enter Form 1095-A, Form 8962 should open up, then Schedule 2 might be added automatically if repayment of PTC applies. Schedule 2 Line 2 is the Excess advance Premium Tax Credit Repayment that links to Form 1040 Line 17.

Thank you for your information. Just had the same thing happen.

Had to fill in Form 8962 lines 27,28, and 29 manually.

Info does not carry to schedule 2. Had to override Form 1040 line17.

Checking to see if update comes in today.

The PTC payback was waived with the latest tax changes put in place a few weeks ago...we've all been waiting for this update to file returns with PTC paybacks.
