Question

Form 5471 data from 2019 did not transfer to 2020 in Proseries Form 1040 module. Is there a way to transfer the data without having to re-input everything

My Form 5471 data from 2019 Form 1040 did not transfer to the 2020 individual tax return file.

Delete the file and retransfer would be the only way....and whether it would transfer the second time around, you won't know until you try.

Had nothing to do with changes... after an hour on smart view screen share and research by the ProSeries team... there's a 'glitch' in the software that only the front page rolls up.  Can either re-enter the data on all the subsequent forms or try to import pdf copies from the year before and change those.

Not what Pro Series should be about.
