Form 1099-B, "Date sold" and "Date Acquired" input should be optional when you already select "Short" or "Long" holding period.

Form 1099-B, "Date sold" and "Date Acquired" input should be optional (right now it turn red check when leave blank) when you already select "Short" or "Long" holding period. Sometimes, I just input the summary only.

Intuit just does what IRS tells them to do.  

IRS:  "Jump!"

Software developers:  "How High?"
