Client passed with very little, no probate. Son asked me to prepare final 1040.  He lives in different state.

How would you handle the signing of F1310? Paper file??

Thanks.

You may encounter e-file related errors with this form and return ..... Therefore you may want to consider asking client if client mailing the return is acceptable. Just my opinion.

Are you sure this needs to be filed? And it's not ready, yet.

There's a $1400 + refund, which includes the $600 stimulus not received (after death). Figured it would be best to paper file. He will distribute refund among 3 surviving adult children. Thanks for responding.
