Early withdrawal of Retirement Funds

Hi online community, does anybody know if the 10% waiver for early distributions expired or if they extended it. I will appreciate your comments. I know the three year split seems to be over but I am not sure about the waiver of the 10% penalty they had in tax year 2020. Have a great weekend everybody.

The last day for the COVID-related penalty waiver was December 30th, 2020, so that is over.

However, I have not looked if that is included in the bills that the idiots in Congress are arguing over, so it is possible it could be extended.
