E-Filing of Amended MI-1040
I have completed an amended MI-1040 tax return to excluded unemployment income that was reported as taxable on original. State of MI says I should file the return electronically if the original was filed electronically. I tried to file MI-1040 (with Amended box checked and Schedule AMD explanation form completed) but ProSeries won't allow me. Does ProSeries enable electronic filing of an amended state return, or do I need to file an old-fashioned paper amended tax return?
