E-filing a 2018 Michigan 1040 amended tax return

Can I E-file a 2018 Michigan Amended 1040, OR do I have to mail it in on a paper return ?

On the fed info worksheet, you'll find a drop down list of states that you can Efile their amended returns....if Michigan isnt in the list, it has to be paper filed.

My question is more specific to the Proseries Software.

Will the Intuit server accept a Michigan Amended return from my 2018 Proseries Software in 2021 ?

The Proseries 2020 Software for Michigan seems to only let you amend and Efile a 2020 Michigan tax return (Not a 2018).

Thus, do I have to do it on paper to mail in ?

Michigan is one of the states you can efile alone

Don't know about MI, but WI amended returns have to be mailed in.
