e filing 20 21 42 retrieve customer service message from the intuit host server

help 

 

i have to try to file one return 3 to 4 times what is going on.

 

no errors on the return

Im not quite following what you mean...you convert, then transmit but it never actually transmits, you get an error that says "20 21 42 retrieve customer service message" ?

after 5 tries the return is filed // big time waste this season .

 

my software was updated tonight and the return has no errors

Not sure what the actual problem was but sounds like you got it filed...the first thing I do when weird stuff happens is reboot the computer, not sure if you did that or not, but its a good place to start.
