e file and unemployment

Why can't I efile a return that has only unemployment income, and only $460 taxable? Refund is $1060, and it says that the refund is larger than taxable income and cannot be e-filed.

Because the IRS says so....

It's due to *potential* fraud concerns.

IRS says you need income at least one dollar more than withholding in order to e-file.

Terri, paper filing is okay... it has its advantages and disadvantages just like electronic filing...
