Client can create an account on irs.gov and get their account transcript which will show the payments.

Or they can give you an IRS Power of Attorney and once IRS processes it you can get the account transcript.

They've been advised of creating that account, but I'd like to put the responsibility of getting the information on them.  I'd like to avoid getting the power of attorney, but that's just me.  I appreciate your response.

A code? no. IRS GetMyPayment will show when the 3rd stimulus is scheduled to be sent, it doesnt show the amount though.

I appreciate it.  A client said someone told her their tax person was able to check on both the status and amount they'll be receiving.  I checked on the IRS website and it shows it hasn't been processed or taxpayer is unable to claim the benefit.  Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything I missed.  Thank you!

The more I know the more I don’t know.
