Do we need to attach documentation to an e-filed tax return that includes a 8839 Adoption Credit?
Our client had one successful adoption, and one failed adoption. The failed adoption does not have a SSN. There are no errors in the system coming up. But with such a big tax credit, we just want to be sure before it gets e-filed.
