Did many on here pass the RTRP exam. I cussed it at first but now have a better understanding why the IRS wants us to have continuing education. Kind of weird at times.

I didn't take the RTRP test, I did have to pass a test for California to be a CRTP (California Registered Tax Preparer) which also gives me the CE credits each year to patriciate in the IRS AFSP similar to a RTRP

YES, all preparers should have to do some kind of CEs for this job! For IRS to let any bozo that can obtain a PIN prepare returns is unacceptable. We see some crazy uneducated preparers ask questions in here!
