PRO SERIES BASIC - LINE 4 OF THE CTC/AOTC DUE DILIGENCE WORK SHEET ASKS IF THE CHILD IS UNDER AGE 17 AT THE END OF 2021.  

SHOULD THAT NOT READ AGE 18 AT THE END OF  2021?

It should but the worksheet doesn't matter if you know it is wrong cause it doesn't get sent to the IRS.

Agree - thanks but someone who has a child at age 17 may answer the questions incorrectly.  It is an auto field but technically the worksheet should reflect the correct age.  Thanks for your clarification.

It's still a good idea to post, because some preparers might not know it is wrong and answer it wrong,
