COVID 19, PERSON PASSED AWAY, REIMBURESED PART OFHOSPITAL BILL, WHAT DO YOU DO WITH IT ON 1041

Mother of client passed away from Covid. Estate was set up and all hospital bills were paid. Then the

hospital reimbursed part of the bill to the Estate and it was deposited into the estate.  Do you have to show

that on the 1041? Where?

I would say that if the mother deducted her hospital bill on her final 1040, then yes any reimbursement of these bills would be included on the estate 1041.
