Client filed Federal owing made electronic payment. Money came out of the bank. Received letter not showing payment. What is proof to send IRS for electronic payment.

I've got one similar, but they mailed in a check back in the beginning of October (it cleared the bank weeks ago), got a notice a few days ago showing they still owed money....I don't think the IRS computer that sends out bills communicates with the computer that manages payments.

Try calling the tax practitioner hotline and see if they can look at the account and see the payment.
