Client amending oklahoma and kansas - I did not originally file the original return - Federal return no changes

This issue is for 2025 - all Proseries can tell me is to mail the returns in - if Oklahoma and Federal say accepted - but still marked for EF in the return column - so obviously it has not been accepted as it states - then what can I do to ACCEPT _ so I will be able to efile the Kansas - which does not recognize a Federal return being filed -

some states piggyback on the federal, so unless youre Efiling the federal long with it, you wont be able to Efile the state.

Id cut MY time losses and just print out out and have them mail it.

thats not the problem - the federal and oklahoma are accepted but it still says Marked for EF - so Kansas is not recognizing the Federal being e filed

Hi @ERKTAR0422 great to see you in the Community, and thanks for asking if you’ll be able to e-file the amended Kansas return. We checked on this, and since only the state is being amended and not the federal return, the Kansas amended return will need to be paper-filed. This is due to the federal piggyback requirement @Just-Lisa-Now- mentioned.
