Child Tax Credit for parents not married;

What should parents do if they alternate yearly custody of a dependent?  The mother received $1800 because she claimed the dependent for 2020.  Now the father is claiming the dependent what amount do I report if any for the father?

You report whatever the father received which sounds like $0.   The mother will report on her return what she received - $1800.  Possible she may have to pay back the ACTC she received depending on her income.
