can you still e-file 2017 tax returns in 2021?
I see that IRS is allowing 2018 returns to still be e-filed through 2021. Is 2017 also allowed to be e-filed?
Will ProSeries block my tax return if e-file is now closed for that year?

No for 2017. It is for current year and 2 years prior (2020, 2019 and 2018 now).
