Can you not E-file returns any more? I thought the IRS was going to stop accepting returns at 10pm today 11/17/18 but it doesn't appear that Intuit is showing acceptance

If you were able to transmit and Intuit received it, then the filing window hasn't closed yet.    Check back for tax agency acceptance on Monday.

We did that one year and the returns kept saying received by intuit but it was never actually uploaded.  It was just one return but now we have a few.  Usually you receive acknowledgments in a few hours.  We filed some in the morning and havent gotten anything acknowledgement yet.

highlight the client files in the EFCenter and choose Update Acknowledgments for Selected returns...see if that pulls any other information in.

I tried that too.  I was just wondering.  Not sure why its taking all day unless the IRS system is down.
