Can I through Pro Series enter and then amend a tax return file and accepted online?

I amend returns every year thru ProSeries.   It’s easier if you e-filed the original return in ProSeries.  But you can efile an amended return in ProSeries even if the original return was e-filed elsewhere.  you just have to input the original return info, and then click on the 1040-x for the year you desire and THEN make the amending changes..   You cannot e-file an amended return if the original return was paper filed.
