Can I restore pro series folder and just reintstall

I have ProWinxx folders with client data, I plan to restore to a clean load of windows 10, can I just reinstall without losing the data?

Reinstalling ProSeries you shouldn't lose your data...that being said, I'd have a backup of the client files DATA folder as well as the Proseries COMMON and HOMEBASE folders for each year, saved on a flash drive, just in case!

Right - just back up your files THROUGH THE SOFTWARE. Don't drag and drop the files to a zip drive using File Explorer because you will be retain the e-file history on the Client Status worksheet.

Then, reinstall. All your files will remain there. Or you can simply RESTORE the files THROUGH THE SOFTWARE so that the e-file history is retained.
