Question

California Personal Taxes (540). Taxes due are now May 17 for individuals. Pro series shows an error when placing the date 5/14 for withdrawals. Will it still successfully e-file?

When I placed the date of May 14 for a clients taxes due on the 540 for withdrawal, pro Series said error, wanting before April 15.  Can we get that fixed? If not, will it successfully e-file anyway?

They havent updated the direct debit date yet. Its super simple to schedule payments on the FTB Webpay website if you want to get the file off your desk and the client insists on paying in May.

    I was able to e-file mine yesterday and it went thru but now it's stuck in limbo land. Recommend waiting for the fix or schedule on FTB website.
