California earned income credit. I completed dependents return and marked dependent of parents. Program Calculated CA EITC. No place to mark of form qualified child.

I am not experiencing this on a return for someone that is being claimed as a dependent on another return.
Be sure you have both boxes checked on the Fed info worksheet. If you're sure both boxes are checked, I would Remove the state return (File >Remove State/City) and recreate it.
