Box check spuse w2. can not find. use all directions. same comes up. enter PAYER.
THE SAME WINDOW COMES UP WHICH DOES NOT GIVE SELECT SPOUSES W2 OPTION

This may be a dumb question, but you're sure you have the return marked as Married Joint?
I don't use Basic, but the Spouse option may not show up if the return is accidently marked as a different filing status.
In Professional, the spouse box is right here, again, no idea what Basic looks like though.
