Question

Anyone else have problems with 2020 scorp filings on Proseries. My client received a late filing penalty but my transmission log shows filing went through on 3/15.

The log shows duplicate activity on 5/25/21 and 12/31/21.  The irs is picking up 12/31 as filing date and asking  for 12 months of penalty.  What could have happened??

I have had problems with 1120S on Turbo Tax. Another Intuit gem.

You are referring to a recent [2022] IRS notification of late filing penalty on the 2020 1120S that you e-filed in 2021, right?   

Maybe an extension was e-filed on 3/15/21 and the final return was e-filed 12/31/21?  Was IRS e-file open for business entity e-file on 12/31/21?
