Question

Anyone efiling in Wisconsin Error 54? Not using any of the forms waiting for 1/27 update. Won't update or efile.

Tried Efile this morning and was rejected on State for no apparent reason.  Tried update all, restart, etc.  Here we go again.

Were you able to e-file a Federal return?

I tried e-filing my first return of the year -- a 2020 federal/state return -- and it indicated e-filing is not yet available.   I thought today was the first day to do just that.

Federal Efiled no problem.  Received Confirmation already.

I think I figured it out -- the IRS is accepting TY 2021 submissions starting today but are holding off on 2019 and 2020 submissions until later this month or early February.

A similar issue has occurred in previous years, which I do find frustrating.
