I have a client who is a KS resident and has some MO income. The MO forms are completed and there is a tax obligation for MO. However, the line on KS for taxes paid to other states is not populating. What am I missing?
Did you do MO first? have to do nonresident state first, then do resident state, and that should work. I don't do KS, but that works for my state WI.
I appreciate the response, Terry! How does one determine the sequence in which the states are done in Pro Connect?
Sorry I use Pro Series, and don't know proconnect. Any software I am aware of needs you to do nonresident first
