I'm getting a critical diagnostic: Form 1120S instructions are still in draft. when are they going to be final?

They are final.

So there are 2 questions:

Why is ProConnect still holding up the 1120S?

Why does ProCinnect program according to form instructions and not tax law? (credit @TaxGuyBill for this)


The more I know the more I don’t know.

It is just a diagnostic - IGNORE IT!

As George pointed out it is a diagnostic warning letting you know that per the IRS the instructions for said form is not final.  The form is final in the software.  The calculations are final in the program.  Yes, you can efile by either checking ignore on the diagnostic, or given it is not an EF Critical diagnostic just pressing the "Efile" button will send it.  It is an informational diagnostic that is for you as the preparer to make the call on how you would like to proceed.
