E-file Amended Return via ProConnect what attachments are actually necessary?

Hi all,

Our firm recently transitioned from ProSeries to ProConnect, and the amended return process seems quite different when e-filing amended returns versus paper filing.

For an e-filed Form 1040-X in ProConnect, since ProConnect transmits the return and applicable forms with the e-file, is there any requirement to PDF attach separate copies of forms labeled “as originally filed” and “as corrected”? Or should PDF attachments generally be limited to new supporting documents, statements, or other documentation that is not already part of the e-filed return?

I am trying to confirm whether the “as originally filed” and “as corrected” form comparison is only a paper filing requirement, rather than something that needs to be attached to the e-filed amended return.
