1041 paper file

Hi 

Two questions.  First, do I need to sign a paper 1041?  The preparer signature block prints with the information all filled in.

Second, the paper government copy is printing two form 1041s.  The other forms and schedules are fine, but the first few pages of the 1041 are duplicate?  I just removed them from the paper return.  Am I missing something?  Is this just a ProConnect issue?

These days, a printed signature block passes for a preparer signature so you are good to go without the signature.

As to your duplicates issue, sounds like a glitch in the software, just pitch the extra copies.
