Question

Why doesn't Lacerte calculate the 2026 estimates for a trust at 110% when Adjusted gross income is over $150,000?

Why doesn't Lacerte calculate the 2026 estimates for a trust at 110% when Adjusted gross income is over $150,000?  The instructions say it estimates should be calculated at 110% when gross income before the income distribution deductions is over $150,000.  My Lacerte option in the trust module is set to 100/110%, but with adjusted gross income of $309,000, my 2026 estimates are calculating at 100% of 2025 tax.

Hi @Kathleen1 thanks for stopping by the Community and posting about why doesn't Lacerte calculate the 2026 estimates for a trust at 110%. We'd connect with Lacerte Support for help with this. They’d be able to remote in, take a look with you, and get it reported if need be.
