Does anyone know how to get an amount to show up on line 24z of Schedule 1, form 1040 in Intuit Proconnect?

Much appreciated!

What kind of adjustment do you want there?

The more I know the more I don’t know.

I have a client who received a 1099-NEC to his SSN. But the funds were received (and taken into income) by his wholly owned S Corporation.

So I report the 1099-NEC as income on line 8z on Schedule 1.

Per the IRS instructions, the nominee amount to reduce income to zero should be reported on line 24z on Schedule 1. Which I could do, if I was filling in the form by hand.

Intuit does not allow an entry on line 24z.

So my next best option to avoid a letter from the IRS would be to report it as income and expense on Schedule C.

Have you looked at the Schedule 1 Instructions to see what the IRS says about that line?
