How do I enter an Angel Investor Credit from the state of NJ in Proconnect

An individual resident in CT made an Angel Investment in NJ and received a credit in 2024.  He did not receive a 1099-G from NJ but received a check.  How do I report the credit received in Proconnect?  Do I need to file in NJ as well even though he is a full time resident in CT?

    If it were a 1099, where would you enter the income? Do so and see what happens.

    For ProConnect a 1099-NEC is seldom used. It is used ONLY IF there is withholding. Even then the income does not flow to any other place in the tax return. 

    Answers are easy. Questions are hard!
