Signatures on 8879-TA for Form 4547 for Trump Accounts?

I'm hearing conflicting information on the e-file of Form 4547 to open Trump Accounts. Specifically signatures.

One thing I'm hearing is that the main 8879 form covers this because 4547 is part of the tax return, and separate signatures on Form 8879-TA is not required. i.e., Form 8879-TA is only if you are just filing Form 4547 standalone from the tax return (although I don't see how/if you can do that in Lacerte).

But when I read the instructions for both Form 8879 and 8879-TA, I don't see any allowance to skip signatures on From 8879-TA just because you have 8879.

I use Lacerte-integrated DocuSign, and it isn't prompting for e-signatures on 8879-TA even when it's present and active in the returns. Is this something we should be manually adding in for separate signatures?

How are you all handling this?

@Karl Thanks for posting here on the Community! You would need to print that form separately to PDF and attach it as an "Other document for eSignature" form and then manually add the signature tags.

Here is a link to a knowledge base to help: Using the eSignature Edit Envelope feature

Thanks!
