Criticial/news alerts

Please, please move the alerts boxes to someplace other than above the input tabs.  Or make it so they go away after they have been reviewed.  So tired of accidentally opening the alerts box.  Very very annoying.  Thank you.

Accidentally implies user error.  Why does this happen?  And don't you want to read them or get them off of your screen by marking them as read?  This is one of the first things that I do when I open LC.

I need more information before I vote on this suggestion.

Absolutely user error.  There was a time when the alerts were not right above the input tabs.  Not sure why Lacerte chose to put in that area.  I would like the old way, though I don't recall where that was now.  I've been using Lacerte for 40 years so have seen many changes.  I don't find this one to be a good one!  Thank you.

Hi @leighada Thanks for your feedback. 
If you'd like to clear your alerts, here's how: 

1. Select the banner or the red Alerts icon in the toolbar to open the notification window 
2. Select the List icon on the left side of the notification window

3. Press the three dots to Select All

4. Last, select the folder icon to Archive the messages you want to remove from the notification center.

When these are cleared, you'll only receive banner notifications for new alerts.
