FYI: critical diagnostic on Missouri returns
The sum of Capital Gain Subtraction on Form MO-A cannot exceed the amount of capital gain reported on the Federal return (ref#61555)
This return has NO capital gain so there is NO capital gain subtraction. The box is showing zero on the MO-A. Even when I override the box, the diagnostic is still showing up. Lacerte says they are opening an investigation into this issue. Please call in and report if you have this issue. Lacerte is awful about fixing State issues. MAYBE they will fix it quicker if more people report it.
Hi @cin15 Thank you for posting in the community. This will be addressed in a future update. In the meantime, you can disable e-file error checking. How to disable the e-file diagnostic error checking in Lacerte.
What support number do you call? I am all for promoting this ridiculous error, it shouldn't even be an issue. I can't find a phone number anywhere.

Ugh. Intuit is a master of En**bleep**tification - they have our money and have barely any competition. I just updated and still have the error as well.
I have 2 returns with exact same issue. One of them is a farm return. I need to get this return filed.
