I wasted nearly 2 hours last night with a partnership return diagnostic that was unable to be fixed regarding “Partner#” saying missing or invalid SSN, address,zip code, etc. There is nothing missing or invalid on any of the 18 partners. The return was basically done, waiting review, and had 18 partners; 3 & 3 new so lots of special Fed. & CA allocations. Now I’ll probably have to redo the return under new name & REP! What a costly error. Had similar Friday night when all my Entities disappeared and ini file had to be redone with program reinstall. I feel I deserve a discount or some sort of compensation. Very unsettling to be using such an unreliable program. I’ve been with Lacerte for about 25-30 years I’d guess, as long as you’ve been around. Also display settings for entities get changed with every update! What’s up with that???
