The current default is Client Copy Return for (client number). I would like to know if it is possible to change the default to be Client Last name, Client First Name, 2025 1040.
Print multiple copies (client copy plus file copy, for instance) at once, and you'll get more descriptive file names. No way to set a preferred default, though.
The only way to change the (client number) is to do it when you print. I will show Filing copy for (client number).pdf You then highlight the (client number) and type whatever you want like SmithJohnAndAmy in that space. No way to change the Lacerte Default
