Electronic payment of estimates with extension filing

If I want the IRS quarterly estimates to be electronically paid, but only file an extension at this time using the Extension Wizard, will the quarterlies be sent for e-pay?  I'm assuming not.

    No.  Only ext is filed.  I recommend paying enough with the ext to cover the first two quarters or so.  That's what I usually do.

    The state can be done though.  Estimates are filed separately.
