Why are forms 1040 & 540 not available on Lacerte 2018 yet?

The forms you mention have been out for a while. If you see a little red x in the lower right of the Lacerte screen, that means you need to update. If that is not working for you, use the FORCE version of install to clean up your Lacerte install

Thank you for your kind answer. I did figure this out yesterday. "info" was the email address of my company.

Ummmm - a lot of forms are available, and e-file-able.

Which ones are you having trouble with?

Generally, there's a yellow banner across the top of the forms that aren't yet ready for primetime.

I keep on seeing the name "info" show up in this community. That name seems to be an oxymoron since info doesn't provide enough info to help themselves.

Really? I haven't noticed that. But I think I'll try & remember to not try & help those folks. I've got payin' clients that want my attention.
