We bill our clients separately for E-File fee of $10 and have for several years. Has this cost gone up at all? Since we are billed by Lacerte all inclusive.

E-filing is required by the IRS.  Why would you charge extra for that?

There is no separate efile fee.  We have never charged extra for efiling, especially since it actually reduces our costs.

In NJ, if you charge an e file fee , you must also collect sales tax on that fee.
