Unable to backup and restore to a new PC. Selected all clients -> back up -> restore and it shows "has no (year) individual detail"

Unable to backup from an old PC and restore to a new PC. Selected all clients on old pc-> client -> back up -> to USB Drive. On new PC -> client -> restore -> selected the folder on the USB drive and it shows "has no (year) individual detail"

I am using Lacerte 2015-2018

My typical installation is X:\\Lacerte\YYtax\idata  so I think you should probably be trying to restore from E:\\Lacerte\YYtax\idata

Use Browse when you try to restore. (Key part is the idata)

That's the correct process...

So try it again? Or, try just one or two clients to see if it'll work?  

And, make sure the flash is functional?
