Question

Original 4868 was filed in the 1040 e-file not the extension. Now trying to file return and getting message it was already processed. Any thoughts on how to file.

The original return was already efiled. You need to amend from whatever was erroneously filed on 4/15 to the correct and complete return.

You might have to get a POA / TIA from the IRS and pull a transcript to figure out what the original numbers were.
