Solved

My client has been ordered to pay the ex-spouse maintenance for 10 years. Is maintenance deductible in CO? If yes, where is it entered on the state return for 2016?

If the maintenance qualifies as an alimony for federal tax purposes, it is allowable on the CO return.  CO Revised Statutes conform to the IRC and do not require an adjustment for alimony deducted on the federal return.

CO 104 starts with federal taxable income, so there's nothing you will need to enter for CO.
