Question

In Lacerte, CA prior depreciation imported from 2022 to 2023 for business entities is incorrect. anyone else discovering this issue?

    There's an existing thread on it.

    AND, is this for individual/S/C/Partnership/Fiduciary.... all of the above???

    I stated in that thread that I am not seeing that issue; but I delay proforma'ing until the last possible moment.  Try re-proforma'ing to see if it still happens.

      2022 Proforma to 2023 - Depreciation Does Not Transfer ‘-1’ for SDA, State if Different

      Search for the above in Lacerte Tax News and Updates.

      Is this what may have happened? We did encounter this and checked manually a few clients that were already in progress and reproforma'd the rest.
