I got a pop up that says Lacerte Tax - Delinquent Notice. It says my account is past due and I will not be able to use REP or electronic communication. I this scam?

I got on pop up on my desktop from Lacerte Tax.  It says in bold Delinquent Notice.  It says my account is past due and I will not be able to use REP or electronic filing communication.  Is this a scam?  My bills are automatically charged to my credit card which is working.  I don't owe anything.

Reboot your computer.  If you keep seeing the popup, call support.

Log in to *My Account* and verify you are PIF.

As Jeff says, reboot.

If it comes back, I would call your IT professional rather than support.

I've had emails about unpaid Intuit invoices when I switched credit cards, but never a pop-up.
