I am a cpa attempting to e-file a NY state individual tax return.

I keep getting error ref #13091.  When I read NY statute,  CPAs are not required to have a NYTPRIN, but I cannot find where to indicate that I am a CPA and therefore do not need a NYTPRIN.  Please advise how to resolve this critical diagnostic.

You just need to update your preparer info and choose CPA for NY exclusion code.
