How do I fix the error message I keep getting when I try to log into 2018 : unable to validate online credentials

I have had no trouble logging in until about week ago. I logged in then and when I did I got a screen saying to verify my email address-I did, the screen said ok and I have not been able to log in since

it worked (without using the word force-when I entered the whole line including force it would not work but taking out force worked!) Thank you
