EF Status shows "Received by Intuit" but not sent to IRS or state. It has been 24 days. Why? There issa problem with the memory bank, when will you resolve it?

If the returns are rejected, the deadline has passed! 1120 companies will be fined a lot. Who is responsible? Thanks a lot.

It could be that the IRS has shut down e-filing for retooling for the new year. It won't open up until 1/15.

I guess since you prepared the return and weren't aware of the IRS shut down, you would be left holding the bag for any potential penalties.
