Does a one/two page organizer showing prior year data make it easier for our clients while giving us more complete data w/out multiple follow up e-mails or phone calls?

The current organizers offered by Lacerte are not intuitive, too lengthy or do not supply enough information to our specific clients to help them identify all the items needed to complete their tax return without multiple e-mails and phone calls.

Probably not. We will likely still have to earn our fee with additional probing questions of our clueless clients.

It also depends on the practitioner's preference, the client's profile, level of complexity, and the amount of due d the practitioner is comfortable with.

I personally hate the condensed organizer. I have a few clients that refuse to complete the organizer, but I still use it as my "cheat sheet" to make sure that everything from the prior year is discussed/provided/accounted for.
